Local Area

Caley Hall Hotel is in the quiet and picturesque village of Old Hunstanton. There are short walks to the quaint village post office, the splendid local church dating from the 14th century and the Le Strange antiques and crafts shop.

The stunning Old Hunstanton beach, which has to be one of the best in Norfolk, is less than a ten minute walk away. This is perfect for walking the dog, a spot of kite surfing or simply sitting in a deck chair and taking in the views. Behind the sand dunes is the Hunstanton lifeboat station which has a small visitor centre, alongside which is a charming beach café providing that essential ice cream!

For golf enthusiasts there is the reputable Hunstanton Golf Club, providing an 18 hole links course, host to many top class amateur events. The Royal West Norfolk Golf Club is also just a little further along the coast at Brancaster.

The area is rich in wildlife, historical buildings and attractive villages. The Royal Estate of Sandringham is close at hand, as are the RSPB reserves at Titchwell and Snettisham, and the Holkham Estate.

For walking enthusiasts the hotel is perfectly situated for easy access to the Peddars Way & Norfolk Coast Path which wind extensively through the beautiful coastal environment.
