Introducing ‘Luna’ our newest resident pooch

Here at Caley we love our four-legged friends which is why we’re a dog friendly hotel. From the moment you arrive there’ll be a fresh bowl of water by the door and happy faces to meet and greet your furry friend!

We are so excited to announce that we have a new resident pooch joining Monty and Chip who have been at the hotel for several years. ‘Luna’ is a 12-week-old miniature dachshund! She’s been with us three weeks already and she’s really enjoying indulging in all of our pet friendly offerings. She had her first walk this week and she’ll be enjoying her first trip to the beach very soon.

We are continuing to improve our dog friendly facilities and have recently added a dog washing area for cleaning up those sandy paws. (Although, it seems to have hit it off as a car wash – not recommended).

The block of dog friendly rooms opposite the car park have all been refurbished this year and we’ve just had the exterior wood work painted so it’s all looking beautiful ready for summer.

We only have 11 pet friendly rooms in total so booking early is advised. Dogs are welcome to join you on the wooden floor area in the bar and The Old Barn restaurant is also dog friendly where you can enjoy breakfast, lunch or dinner. If the sun is shinning the numerous patio areas offer the perfect place to relax and enjoy a cold drink or a bite to eat.

All of our dog friendly rooms have direct access to a shared patio area and dogs are welcome to roam freely in your room. We do advise bringing all your own doggy essentials including their bed but we do provide a doggy towel in the room and a little package of poo bags and treats on arrival. Most of our rooms are on the ground floor but we do have a couple upstairs so please specify ground floor when booking if needed.

Unfortunately, we don’t have any grass areas within the hotel grounds but the short walk to the beach offers plenty of opportunities for pups to do their business. It’s just a ten-minute walk to the stunning dog friendly beach at Old Hunstanton where dogs can run freely all year round. Whether your pooch loves skipping through the sand dunes, racing along the beach or a swim in the sea they are sure to have the time of their lives.
