Holkham Hall

Holkham is a thriving 25,000 acre agricultural estate with excellent visitor facilities including the new Courtyard Café and the Field to Fork experience. The Coke family have lived at Holkham Hall since the 1750s and today it is still a very much lived in family home.

There is so much to do at Holkham Hall whether you enjoy walking or cycling the grounds, visiting the Hall itself or bringing the children along to enjoy the wooden play area and walled garden.

A visit to Holkham Hall, the Field to Fork experience and the walled garden is £16 for adults and £8 for children or £44 for a family of 2 adults and three children. Visit https://www.holkham.co.uk/visiting/details/opening-times-prices for opening times and admission prices. Please note the Hall itself is only open on Sundays’ Mondays and Thursday.

A walk around the Hall gives you a real insight into the History of the beautiful building and a chance to appreciate the fabulous architecture. A trip to the Walled Garden by buggy offers beautiful views over the lake and stunning countryside and is a real delight on a sunny day.

The field to fork experience is an educational, interactive experience that’s fun for all ages and the short video gives a really interesting insight into farming at Holkham.

Holkham Park is home to a herd of free-roaming Fallow Deer. Designated walks allow visitors to explore the grounds and dogs on leads are welcome. If you prefer, cycle hire is available from £10 for two hours, visit https://www.holkham.co.uk/visiting/cycle-hire for further information on cycle hire. Rowing boats, canoes and kayaks are also available for hire and a high ropes course is set to open this summer.
