The Caley Mail

February

If only I had listened when my parents told me that time goes much quicker the older you get! January has been and gone in a blur & New Year resolutions already abandoned if made at all. The kids have gone back to school & now in a blink of an eye it seems are on holiday again - over Valentines too, perhaps serving as a reminder what can happen if you get too romantic.

As we move through February we have an opportunity to look back at the refurbishments that have been carried out since the New Year. Electricians, plumbers & builders have been and gone & the kettle can let out a sigh of relief. With new carpets being laid and fresh paint jobs throughout a number of rooms we are once again ready to welcome past, present & new guests through our doors.

February is regarded as a quieter month but with Valentines & a Half Term to prepare for it seems as if we are set to be back in full swing very soon and can’t wait. Also in February we do appear to welcome a number of birdwatchers back which is another reminder of just how lucky we are to be located so close to some wonderful sanctuaries along the coast.

Our special Valentines menu is now available online along with the first few events planned to help us raise money for the local RNLI which will be ongoing throughout the year. Already we have set dates for a Coffee Morning, Quiz night & even a "Jelly-Welly” walk! Keep checking our events page for more details of how to join in.

Although it may not be in February we  are delighted to announce the return of the Carvery for Mother’s Day on the 11th March, we strongly recommend booking as soon as possible to avoid disappointment. Also in March we will be present at the Holkham Hall wedding show this year so if you are preparing for your special day and would like to know what we can offer then pop down and see our Wedding Co-ordinator Danielle to chat about our packages and how we can help to make your day as relaxed and enjoyable as possible.
