The Caley Mail
If you had asked me a few weeks ago what I would be writing about come the first of March I’m pretty sure my answer wouldn’t have involved snow but there you go, it’s here and not just a spattering like we have had the last few years but proper snow. Snow worthy of being rolled up into snowmen (or snow-woman) and snowballs. Snow which causes schools & businesses to close. Snow which brings havoc to our roads and brings the end of days for boilers everywhere leaving households huddled under blankets which are never quite big enough to cover everyone’s feet.
Due to this bizarre turn of events I am hesitant to predict anything else for this month but I can let you all know of a very special event we will be holding on the 21st March. In support of World Down Syndrome Day we will holding a coffee morning between 10am – 12pm along with a raffle, tombola & the ever serious staff bake off so please join us and help raise funds for the Downs Syndrome Association.
Also we will be attending the EDP Bride – the Wedding Shows latest event at Holkham Hall so if you are in the throes of organising your big day come on down and meet the team who will answer all of your questions about what we can offer.
Also as mentioned last month March sees the return of the Caley Hall Hotel carvery for Mothers’ day. We are filling up quickly so don’t hesitate to get a table booked to avoid disappointment.
If you can’t make Mothering Sundays carvery though remember we do offer a Sunday lunch every week between 12-2.30pm plus our restaurant is open every lunchtime & evening during the week too so pop down and enjoy a meal anytime.
